My favorite saying has always been: "If you're gonna be a bear, be a Grizzley" and so it began.

Many know me as Griz. After serving 21 years in the Marine Corps as a proud U.S. Marine, I retired and found a new way to channel my creativity. During my 45-minute train commute to work, I turned to my long-time hobby of paracord crafting, creating lanyards, bracelets, and keychains. What started as a way to pass the time quickly grew into something more when I began gifting my creations to friends and co-workers.

Among my designs, the monkey's fist keychain quickly became a favorite—not only for its craftsmanship but also for its practicality. The monkey's fist, featuring a steel ball bearing wrapped in 550 paracord, is a discreet yet effective tool.

Whether clipped to a purse, carried as a keychain, or kept close for peace of mind, the monkey's fist is more than a craft—it's a statement of strength and style.
